As promised, here is the detailed information about word formation.

My Dear Students,

This is what you should know for this English test:

I – Listening skills:

– listening to a small text and doing an exercise on its content;

II – Reading Comprehension:

– identifying vocabulary used in the text;

– understanding the message of a text;

– answering “wh” questions using the information presented in the text;

– finding evidence in the text;

– completing sentences;

– finding synonyms and/or antonyms;

– filling in gaps with information from the text.

III – Language Skills (Grammar):

– completing a text using word formation;

– using the prepositional verbs;

– using the impersonal pronouns (something, anything, someone, anyone, somewhere, anywhere)

– using the quantifiers;

IV – Writing skills

– writing a text on a specific topic related to the “Consumer Society”

If you know all this, you will have a great mark!!! ;)

III – Language Skills (Grammar):

– expressing the future (using will, be going to, present continuous, present simple or “be about to”);

– using different verb tenses;

– rephrasing sentences using conditional structures;

– expressing wishes;

– transform words;

IV – Writing skills

– writing a text on a specific topic related to the “Technological World”

If you know all this, you will have a great mark!!! ;)

– telling the time;

– talking about the daily routine.

II – Reading Comprehension:

– understanding the message of a text;

– answering “wh” questions using the information presented in the text;

– Marking sentences True or False, correcting the false ones and quoting from the text to justify the true ones;

– Matching parts of sentences according to the text;

III – Language Skills (Grammar):

– using the present simple in the affirmative, negative and interrogative;

– identifying the different frequency adverbs and placing them in the sentences;

– distinguishing the prepositions of time (in, on, at, during, after, before);

If you know all this, you will have a great mark!!! 😉
