Dear students,

For this English test you should be able to:

  • Read a text about Lifestyles and understand its message by answering some questions about it (typesย ofย exercises: matching, multiple choice, filling in gaps, True/False – find evidence…);
  • Identify the countries, capital cities and respective nationalities;
  • Identify the types of shops and the products you can buy there;
  • Use the comparative of adjectives;
  • Use the past simple of the regular and irregular verbs (affirmative, negative and interrogative forms);
  • Write a small text about one of your last trips.

As promised, here are the objectives for the test this week.

So, for this English test you should e able to:

I – Reading comprehension:

  • read a text and understand its message by answering some questions;

II – Language Awareness:
A. Vocabulary skills:

  • identify and distinguish the different types of holidays, accommodation and activities;

B. Grammar:

  • distinguish the use of Present Simple tense and Present continuous;
  • use the Past Simple tense of the regular and irregular verbs.

III – Writing Skills:

  • write a text about your last holidays.
