As promised here is the worksheet with many exercises for you to prepare for this second English test.

Try to solve all the exercises and if you have doubts, consult your notes and your student’s book. There are many other important exercises on your workbook!

For this second English test you should be able to:

Part I – VOCABULARY SKILLS: apply vocabulary related to healthy/unhealthy eating habits and lifestyles;

Part II – READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS: read and interpret a text on the subject mentioned above;

Part III – LANGUAGE AWARENESS SKILLS (Grammar)

  • recognize and use adjective formation processes (prefixes and suffixes);
  • distinguish adjectives ending in -ing and/or -ed;
  • using the present perfect and the present perfect continous.

PART IV – WRITING SKILLS – writing a text about healthy/unhealthy lifestyles and eating habits.

  • know vocabulary related to SCHOOL: objects, facilities and subject;
  • know vocabulary related to the DAILY ROUTINE;
  • PART II – READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS:

  • read and understand the message of a text answering to different exercises: matching, completing sentences, true/false – correct the false ones and justify the true ones, answering questions, multiple choice;
  • PART III – LANGUAGE AWARENESS (Grammar)

  • recognize and use the following grammar items: PRESENT CONTINUOUS, PRESENT SIMPLE, FREQUENCY ADVERBS.
  • PART IV – WRITING SKILLS

  • write a small text about your daily routine.
