My Dear Students,

This is what you should know for this English test:

I – Listening skills:

– listening to a small text and doing an exercise on its content;

II – Reading Comprehension:

– identifying vocabulary used in the text;

– understanding the message of a text;

– answering “wh” questions using the information presented in the text;

– finding evidence in the text;

– completing sentences;

– finding synonyms and/or antonyms;

– filling in gaps with information from the text. (of course, not all of these types of exercises will be used!)

III – Language Skills (Grammar):

– rewriting sentences using several types of structures:

– verb tenses (all you know: present/past simple; present/past continuous; present/past perfect; future; future perfect; present perfect simple/present perfect continuous, expressions/verbs+gerund…)

– passive voice (all types);

– conditional sentences (“if clauses”;

– conjunctions (contrast, addition, cause, consequence, purpose…)

IV – Writing skills

– writing a text on a specific topic related to the “Environmental Awareness”

If you know all this, you will have a great mark!!!
