Objectives for the test – 10th form

Dear 10th form students,
For the English test next week, you should be able to:
Group I – reading comprehension
– understand the message of a text about the Media;
Group II – Vocabulary and Grammar
– recognise vocabulary related to the media, especially to newspapers;
– use the definite or indefinite articles (a,an,the, zero article);
– distinguish the use of the past perfect and past simple;
– distinguish and use the modal verbs;
– distinguish and use the different conditionals (type 1, 2 and 3);

In the first week of December we are going to do a written test. Thus, here is the preparation worksheet, as usual.

As promised, here is a worksheet that you should solve in order to prepare the test for the 7th Module – Young People and Consumerism – next Friday, 18th November.
Pay attention to the fact that there are some exercises that will be the same in the test.

For 8th A it is tomorrow, 27th October;
For 8th B it is on Friday, 28th October.
For 9th OSI, it is on Monday, 31st October.
