Dear students,
With the coming of the next English test, under the subject “Our World”, here is what you should know:
Group I – reading comprehension:
- reading a text and interpreting its message;
- finding synonims and references;
Group II – Grammar
- defining and non-defining clauses;
- linking words and phrases;
- phrases “used to” and “be/get used to”;
- double and correlative comparative.
- phrasal verb “to break”;
Group III
- writing an comment.
Dear students,
Here are the objectives for the English test next week.
You shoud be able to:
Group I – reading comprehension
– understand the message of a text about the consumer society;
Group II – Vocabulary and Grammar
– recognise vocabulary related to the consumer society;
– distinguish the use of the present perfect and present perfect continuous;
– distinguish and use different verb tenses;
– use the adjectives in the correct order;
– distinguish and use the different contrast clauses;
Group III – Writing
– comment on a cartoon related to consumerism;
